Weekend in the West Country

Well, the weekend has been spent in a little village called Mungret, just outside Limerick in western Ireland. It is the home village of my good friend Maria whom just happens to be marrying another good friend of mine, Glen. A lot of Guinness and good craic has been had with the family and I have enjoyed my time immensely. I hope to get back in the new year to catch up with the family again and some new found friends. Back to the real world tomorrow and sunny England. Christmas is only a week away and I hope that all of you are going to be enjoying it exactly where you want to be and who you want to be with. (photo is St John's Castle in Limerick on the River Shannon, which on the day of this visit was flowing incredibly fast. click on the map to enlarge)
